Upcoming Election Important Dates

• City of Charlotte Primary Election Day: Tuesday, September 9th 2025. Election Day Polls are open from: 6:30am - 7:30 p.m.
• Ballots will be mailed out starting: Friday, August 8th, 2025. 
• Absentee Ballot Return Deadline: Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 in our office by 7:30 p.m.
• Last day to request a ballot: Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. 
• First Day of Early Voting: Thursday, August 21st, 2025
• Last Day of Early Voting: Saturday, September 6th  
• Last Day to Register to Vote on Election Day: Friday August 15th, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
• Certification of Primary: Tuesday, September 16th, 2025
